In 1931 things were much more cheaper than things are now. In this story, Timmy Oglethorpe pays for Cracker Jack with only a quarter and we would have to pay much more now since it is now 2015. The Great Depression is included in this story. Many things happened during The Great Depression. They were not good things either. A detail that I noticed was that now in baseball the players have metal bats, but in 1931 they had wooden bats.
